Position Overview
Rux Software is seeking a highly skilled, strategically minded Senior Account Executive to accelerate growth for our Rux Rental and Rux Service Maintenance solutions within the industrial asset management sector.
This role is ideal for an experienced enterprise software seller who excels at generating new business while also converting partner-sourced opportunities. While strong enterprise sales fundamentals are essential, prior experience selling into industrial asset management, equipment rental, or field service organizations is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central is a strong advantage.
This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role focused on expanding Rux Software’s market presence across asset-intensive industries.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Growth
- Proactively identify, research, and prospect new enterprise opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, events, and digital channels.
- Nurture, advance, and close qualified leads generated by Rux partners.
- Build and maintain a strong, predictable pipeline across key industrial verticals.
Consultative Enterprise Selling
- Conduct in-depth discovery to understand customer challenges across rental management, service maintenance, and asset lifecycle operations.
- Position Rux Rental and Rux Service Maintenance as strategic, high-value solutions with clear ROI.
- Deliver compelling demos (in partnership with a sales engineer), presentations, and value-based proposals to business and technical stakeholders.
Sales Cycle Ownership
- Manage the full sales cycle—from opportunity creation through scoping, pricing, negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product teams, and implementation specialists to build accurate and compelling solution proposals.
- Maintain timely and accurate forecasting, documentation, and opportunity management in the CRM.
Industry Expertise & Market Presence
- Stay current on trends in industrial asset management, rental operations, service management, and Business Central–based solutions.
- Represent Rux Software at trade shows, conferences, industry events, and partner engagements.
Performance Expectations
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Execute a disciplined, strategic, and value-driven enterprise sales approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally within industrial asset management, equipment rental, field service, or other asset-intensive sectors.
- Demonstrated success closing complex SaaS or ERP deals in a B2B environment.
- Experience with or exposure to the Microsoft Business Central ecosystem is a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive-selling skills.
- Highly self-motivated and accountable, with strong outbound pipeline generation skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with partners and cross-functional internal teams.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, partner sessions, and industry events.
