The Role

The Solutions Consultant is the technical, customer-facing product expert at magicplan, responsible for guiding new customers through onboarding and early activation. Your goal is to help customers quickly reach clear, measurable business value by embedding magicplan into their real-world restoration workflows.

This role operates within an evolving consultative PLG motion. While core activation goals are defined, many processes, success metrics, and prioritization rules are still being refined. You’ll execute within existing frameworks while partnering closely with your manager, Growth Advisors, and Product to test, improve, and scale repeatable activation approaches. This role requires comfort making tradeoffs, prioritizing impact, and saying no to lower-signal requests to protect scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Orientation & Qualification: Lead technical orientations for newly qualified accounts, partnering with Customer Growth Advisors to ensure a smooth transition from qualification to activation.

  • Activation & Value Realization: Design, test, and iterate activation paths during the first 90 days, creating repeatable workflows that help customers embed magicplan into daily operations and realize measurable business value.

  • Prioritization & Tradeoffs: Actively prioritize high-impact accounts in partnership with Growth and your manager, making clear tradeoffs and confidently declining lower-impact requests to support scalable growth.

  • Technical Expertise & Enablement: Provide technical onboarding, targeted training, and ad-hoc consultation for mature or at-risk accounts, translating product capabilities into practical, industry-relevant workflows. It's important to stay informed about the Restoration industry in order to do this well.

  • Feedback & System Improvement: Deliver structured, actionable feedback to the Solutions Consulting Manager and Product team, helping convert customer learnings into clearer activation paths and more scalable product experiences.

Who You Are

Although we are looking for a passionate, purpose-driven individual rather than a 100% match of the job description, there is an important skill set for this role.

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS as a Solutions Consultant, Implementation Specialist, Solutions Architect, or similar role, with a track record of activating customers.

  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to translate product capabilities into real business value.

  • You have (or are eager to gain) deep knowledge of the restoration industry, allowing you to anchor magicplan’s value to real-world efficiency gains.

  • Confident communicator, comfortable leading customer calls, orientations, and training sessions.

  • Collaborative by default, able to work closely with Growth Advisors, Product, and your manager in an evolving GTM environment.

  • Demonstrated comfort operating in ambiguity - able to make sound prioritization decisions with incomplete data and help define “what good looks like” as processes evolve.

  • Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities while focusing on highest-impact work.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken form, is required.

What Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification required – we encourage applications from all fields of study.

  • Experience with CRM and remote communication tools (e.g. HubSpot, Aircall, Google Suite, Slack, ClickUp).
