SUMMARY:

The role of the Sr. Retail Regional Sales Manager is to manage the operational and retail sales activities within a specific region. The role of the Sr. Retail Regional Sales Manager is also responsible for soliciting new retailers to join Lendmark Financial Services retail dealer network while also managing and/or originating large national/regional retail relationships.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solicit, sign and set up new retail and/or home improvement dealers
  • Manage large multi-location Regional Retail Dealers as assigned
  • Review and decision retail dealer relationship requests
  • Maintain dealer relationship
  • Train Lendmark Retail RSM’s and retail dealer personnel
  • Keep updated with industry trends
  • Address dealer customer service issues
  • Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree or strong equivalent background in outside sales in same or related field or comparable education and related training
  • 10+ years related experience
  • Ability to be effective in product/service presentation, negotiations and final closings
  • Ability to be effective in dealer servicing and retention
  • Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision; self-starter
  • Broad-based industry knowledge of related documents and legalities
  • Working knowledge of support positions
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of related programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
     

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in consumer finance industry

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Frequent overnight travel
